This October the year-long exhibition "A Community of Writers: Creative Writing at the University of Iowa" opened at the Old Capitol Museum, displaying how diverse personalities and historical circumstances combined to make the University of Iowa "The Writing University".

As an ongoing web-based project, this Online Exhibit will be updated regularly, featuring different sections of the gallery (with images, tours and interactive segments) until the "Community of Writers" exhibit at the Old Capitol Museum closes in October 2008.
